Just sent away to join the above association. Anyone heard of them, part of them.

I'm just wondering, just to see that I've joined a quality organisation.

Cheers, Ian

To be honest I don't really know much about them. I think they mainly are involved with rallying and racing (Knockhill?) smokin

It is a recognised organisation and their services are much in demand - do a lot of race stuff at K'hill as the HSC says, but also provide ambulance for a lot of speed events and training for their members. They have a big presence at Doune - you'll recognise the orange suits and occasional blue ones. I'd most definitely say go for it, but please don't forget us speed people and get too involved with racers when you're trained up - we NEED people like you cos without you we couldn't play!!

Yeah, itmakes you feel good when you've pulled someone out of he barrier, who then shakes your hand and says thanks. Makes it all worth it.

It will be fine to get into different types of marshaling, but I won't forget you Speed lot as I always get a good laugh and ofcourse, I'm always kept busy laugh

Ian,

Good to see you are getting more involved....competeing next step!!!
Remember there is a hillclimb at Fintray on the 11th & 12th of August being organised by Grampian Automobile Club. Hope to see you there.

I'll be donning the orange boilersuit once more. It'll be interesting since it's a hillclimp this time.

We'll just have to wait and see.

Are you going to be ready in time for Fintray, is the Corrado still poorly?

The Corrado will have a new cylinder head fitted this week and will be ready for Fintray. See you there.

well done you I.T.B - these organisations are crying out for help. SMMC are the only units available up here in Scotland. PM if you want more information about getting started with them
