Lossie Sprint July 28 & 29. Anyone know if cars/trailers can be left within the base perimeter overnight Friday and Saturday or if there's secure parking nearby?

John

As I recall I left my car and trailer there overnight last year, it is fairly secure, there are guys with guns guarding the place biggrin

Thanks Murray. Wasn't sure if security would be keen on lumps of metal lying around overnight on the base. Alford was a great sunny day for a change, but yours truly had another set of fairly dire times, the best being a high 62, which is pretty disappointing given that my old Dutton managed a 57 two years ago with about half the horsepower and a chassis constructed from main structural sections of the Forth Bridge. Loads of excuses, from engine management glitches to fuelling problems to my total inability to drive the f*****g thing! Still, it sure beats working...
Congrats again on a lovely granddaughter. One of my girls is due to spawn on January 12, so I've got the knitting needles out, bought slippers and a pipe and booked a Saga bus holiday to Austria.

May be a daft question but is it possible to spectate at this event?

No spectators allowed, best bet is to volunteer to marshal, all help gratefully recieved; and the closest view of the action.

Thanks was just wondering, will need to ask the person giving a lift through if they're willing to marshal! Who would I contact regarding marshalling?

The best bits, IMO, are not accessible to spectators, or mechanics/helpers as there are no spectators, so marshaling and possibly getting assigned to the fast bits is your best option.
