i have a track night booked for the 31st of may at knockhill, in association with Sounds of Silence, Falkrk. it`s going to be pretty strict rules so everyone enjoys the night, from newbies to experienced track day specialists. there`s quite a mixed batch of cars attending at the moment, things like p1`s, evo`s, a dax cosworth, 205 turbo`s, focus rs and possibly a metro . we have limited places left and thought they could be filled to their full potential through pistonheads. it promises be a very good night.

start time is 18.00 running on to 20.00 in Open Pit format.
it`s a thursday night, so no weekend drinking time lost!
price is £60 per car for 1 driver, £40 for an additional driver.
places can be secured with payment of £60, paid in full before the 23rd May, or paying on the night will be a little dearer at £75 and i cannot gaurantee any vacant places available when you get there. i must stress there is a limited number of spaces left, so first come first served basis.

payment can be made in several forms, please email me direct at sosgg@btinternet.com,

thanks for looking

Are there still places, and is a competition car with an MSA logbook but not road legal OK?

Whilst clearly I can't speak for this tracknight - If it's of any help, I cleared the MSA logbook issue direct with Knockhill earlier this year so I could come down to SIDC trackdays with the Radical

If I recall correctly, MSA logbook (without "Knockhill MOT" ) is OK if:-

1. You tell them you're coming and provide details and
2. You arrive a bit early and be prepared to show them the logbook etc

Have fun thumbup

as usual buddy, a large chunk of folk have pulled out due to other "commitments" hence the trying to get folk interested off here. there should be enough mate, but i`m just a little panicy due to events organised in the past.

fingers crossed biggrin

yeah mate, free entry too. I'll be there down the gravel pit waiting aimlessly with 100-400mm in hand...

Hawkaye, think I might have spotted you last night. I think you arrived just after the thunder and downpour!

Weather was a bit horrendous for a while, made for interesting cornering at the hairpin though! Especially the silver Evo and MX5!

I'll try to get some pics up tonight.
