Anybody do refurb Alternators around Aberdeen...?

As the boring title suggest, need a refurbed alternator (or someone who can refurb one) for my mk1 MR2.....

Hi,

Probably the same model Alternator as is used on other Toyota's of that age, have you tried giving Overton breakers in Dyce a cal? They are usually pretty good and sometime even have new parts for sale (got a new headlight for the wife's carina from them & a good used wiper motor). They have the parts already stripped off so there's no messing around.

Rob, thanks, tried them and they actually have one breaking! So ill get that one off them today before they shut hopefully.

Only thing was they are pretty rude on the phone, ie. trying to get you off it asap, eventually just putting the phone down on me! No big deal certainly if the alternator works....!
