Anyone driving down to Goodwood Festival of Speed in June??

Hi Folks

I am a new member on this forum, I live in the borders and me and a mate are going to be driving down to Goodwood for the festival in my TVR, just wondered if anyone would like to join us for the drive? We are going to drive down overnight on Thurs 21st June.

Thats a good deal! The TVR will cost way more than that just in fuel!! Mind the drive down adds to the whole experience!

think me and the old boy (VetteG) have definatly decided on the revival and spa, shame would love to do them all but petrol costs would be all my wages for the year to do that.

I was going to drive in the TVR Chimeara, leaving from Dumfries, across A66 etc on Friday. ScotchCorner meet for convoy? Will add a Tuscan at Nottingham, would be a good convoy trip if anybody is in.

I am definitely up for that, we are going down in my Tamora, however we are planning to drive down overnight on the thurs/fri so as to avoid traffic. We are thinking of leaving Berwick at about 12-1am, be at scotch corner probably 2-2.30am??

G9, sounds ace. But Im not one of them nocturnal types. Even if it does take an hour longer, I was planning to go in the sunshine. Was planning on leaving so as to be at Scotch Corner for lunch time on Friday, so I can get to rendezvous 4 miles from BrilliantWood in time for a few beers and a kip before going in on Saturday early. Sorry our schedules dont match. Maybe catch you on the way back though.
