Can you help to provide charity rides in "exotic cars" please

ALL MONEY raised on this activity goes to the children's charity REACT which assists families who have a child with a life-threatening illness and are in financial difficulty

Sunday 3 June - Sporting Bears Dream Rides at Thirlestane Castle, Lauder, Scottish Borders.

A fund-raising event which is part of the Motoring Extravaganza organised by Borders Vintage Automobile Club.

At the organisers' request, the Sporting Bears Motor Club are seeking "exotic cars".

Anyone who has an appropriate vehicle or who can help in any other way please get in touch.

Lots of helpers also needed on the day to assist with bookings and promoting the Rides.

Please follow this link if you can offer rides or help in any way.

I would easily do it, but I'm not sure my car will be back and you are about 200 miles away, sorry.

Thanks, send him the details above for me please (can't get links to work off PH at the moment) as if he can't help this time he may want to help another time

As you're much travelled yourself have a look at the links above yourself as the Sporting Bears Dream Rides are also at different locations and dates

Would love to have been part of this, (If a Caterham could have been described as interesting enough) , but it s abit too far for me to travel from Aberdeen.

Dave thanks for your comment, a Caterham would go well at our other events but they're even further away from you

Thank you

A Caterham may not be an "exotic" (organisers' description not ours) but still a dream ride for some people

As I pointed out to Itsadeal, because you've got one you've probably forgotten what it was like to aspire to one

Now don't get upset, , I was very sucessfull with my Westie the times I took it to the NEC

Have sent a link to friend in Borders with a Ginetta G4 ... He may be able to help - don't know if it counts as 'exotic' but it's pretty unusual!!

Nigel,

Unfortune would have it that many of us will be oop north that weekend for a sprint weekend.

My plan is that I will indeed be the owner of something exotic by then. If circumstances change and I can help, I will.

Have you thought about contacting the likes of Northo direct?

Cheers,

Eric
