Newcomers Introductory Car Track Day (Wed 18th April 4:30pm)
Discussion
I did Knockhill's introductory trackday back in July 2005, it was a 2 hour session for £79 if I recall. It started with a briefing, then a few demo laps where an instructor took us out in an MG (ZR I think) to show us the line, then a session of ducks and drakes following the instructor in our own cars, each of us (in a group of 4) taking turns to be the car directly behind the instructor. The remainder of the session was then open pitlane.
It was a good introduction, but to be honest you'd be as well popping along to an SIDC or Hot Marques day to spectate, get a few passenger laps with various people then book on for an SIDC day yourself. I'm sure there will be plenty of people happy to go out with you to explain the line, braking points etc.
