Speed sunday not the "rebranded" hot hatch days? i.e. banger racing? And not a day you`d want to take a decent car on....

Can anyone confirm that?
I have planned to take my Dad out for his birthday and let him do some driving, if it's gonna be hairy I'm not sure I want to risk my baby getting damaged.

That is correct.
Whether or not standards will have improved since Team Gimp did their best to get Knockhill black flagged by insurers remains to be seen.
If your car meets the hot marques requirements stick to that.

do not go to hot hatch/speed sundays unless you want you car back in less than one piece, top marques days/sidc days/dreadnought days are the only ones worth taking you p&j along to.
Cheers Graham, My mistake for not looking into it properly.
Managed to cancel and get a spot for the SIDC on Saturday instead you heading down?
Incidently Saw you out on Union Street last Saturday, your motor is looking lovely.

Wheres the SIDC day?
Knockhill mate.
You coming along?
Would love to mate, but down south that weekend, as I'm in London with the Murci. Didn't realise these were kinda still open days and booked something down south with a few mates.
Have fun if ya get yer car on in time.
Any make/type of cars are welcome at SIDC days, in fact normally there are more lotuses than anything else. JOhnS runs the days and the most important thing is track etiquette. These days are some of the best organised track day events ive ever been to as poor driving is not tolerated. HTH cheers ed
