Well I needed to get another motor to use back and fore to Aberdeen as I was NOT taking my baby again so I opted for the sensible option...............NOT. Say hello to Stang's little older brother.

I only went out to buy a bloody GOLF!!!

Very nice choice Stang, glad to see collars and cuffs match, excellent work!

BTW - there's a TopGear thread somewhere on General Gassing and apparently it features stangs...

Undecided yet lol. Although might have to look into something. Last night in bed I heard three guys in there late teens over the other side of the main road. They then uttered the dreaded words which got me dressed quick "look a Porsche and a Mustang" They then came into my property and were at my cars. (no damage done they did not have time) They got scared away when I opened the door with a baseball* bat in my hands. Got the lodger up and we gave chase. Police were then up at 2am getting a statement from me as we never caught them but the did cause damage to a garden down the road.

So today I will be busy wiring up my security camera on my rented house and getting another one installed for my house.

**disclamer** baseball bat is in no way used for the t*atting of teenage kids, but mearly used for nighttime sport. furious

Alternatively, keep a torch handy. Well, one particular type of torch - a monster maglite. Perfectly reasonable to be hefting it around in the middle of the night. As recommended by a few uniformed friends.

"Of course I was carrying my maglite, Officer, it was dark..."

So whereabouts do you live Stang, there has been a spate of people nicking badges in Cruden Bay. I had my Cerbera done last night, scratched all the bonnet and boot getting the badges off and the wheels by nicking the centre caps, little bastards. It looks like it will need a full respray because of the colour.

I'd love to get my hands on them, just wondered if you lived in the area as well.

No I live in Inverness. I got talking with the neighbours over the road and I was lucky I disturbed them as their Clio had their mirrors and wipers broken. Another had his ladder taken and it was found in a field near mine. If I had not gone out god knows what might have happened.

Congratulations Honey. I saw both cars outside your house this morning when I drove past. I certainly did not expect you to acquire a classic Porker for the Aberdeen run. Love your style.

I was just in the right place at the right time I guess. I paid just over 1k for him. He has 128k on the clock but when going through the boot I found a FULL service history. Only problem I have encountered is the power steering pipes are badly corroded. So my task today is to remove them and see if I can get some made up tomorrow.

Moi swine no not me angel lol. I will easily swap you for the DB9 if you want Although he is looking a little worse for wear now as I stripped him this morning. Got the power steering pipe off now and because I can't get anything sorted till tomorrow, so I thought it a good idea to start on the wheels.........

Nice and toasty for me........ I really need a garage!!

PS Wazza stop winding me up by going past my house in the damn Lambo!! You know Stang is sick and don't want to come out to play till he is fixed!!!

Edit* one done only three more to go!!

No my mum is retired now, and dad is working in Paris 9 months of the year so they aren't around as much as they used to.

You'd probably know the cars tho - red 5 door Rav4 and a blue Saab 9-3 convertible (well it's now a 9-3 sportwagen but that lives in Paris)

Now and again a noisy blue VX comes up to visit
