Hotel in Glasgow
Discussion
I'm looking for a nice hotel in Glasgow for next weekend, friday and saturday nights. Doesn't have to be posh, just good sized rooms, no crappy decor, decent bar, room service and preferably somewhere to park the car. If no parking avalible, any suggestions on somewhere safe to park it for the weekend that isn't going to have me bent over a barrel?
Cost isn't too much of a factor, had a quick look at the Hilton and the Radisson, both coming in about £300, just wondering if there was any others that might be worth a try?
Cheers

You could do worse than the Malmaison just off Blythswood Square. Just round the corner there is a Novotel and another similar whose name I forget (Accor?). Both modern and comfortable. You don't have to eat there - Sauchiehall Street is 2.5 mins away with all kinds of restaurants. Recommendations on request.
And, sorry, critically, there are car parks, such as the Q-Park, very close by where you could leave your car safely overnight. The hotels may have a deal with them.
The large Hilton is also close by and I concur with views expressed above. Maybe a bit more expensive. With its own multi storey car park. If you have something really flash they will let you park it in an area opposite the front door where the doormen will keep an eye on it. Indeed they will encourage you to do this because it makes their hotel look glamorous.
