For all you know, I'd popped home for some afternoon delight.

No, some kid in a Corsa was having his particulars taken on the left hand side (east bound) though. Meanwhile, on the other side of the road, a bunch of them were standing around.

There was a marked traffic car on the right hand side.

Thinking about it, I was lucky. I thought I was going to be late for a meeting at 14:30 so was nipping on a bit. There was a Range Rover in front of me as we entered the 30 and he slowed right down. If he hadn't been there then I might have ...

Cheers,

Eric

Really guys. Leggart Terrace! What do you have swooping in from the West? A bunch of signage warning you of the impending 30mph. It's not like the BIB are hiding out.

And, did no one notice all the flashed headlamps from traffic coming in the other direction? They were'nt flashing to say "Hi, nice wheels".

I really have to say that anyone getting caught there should'nt expect too much sympathy.

I hope they catch the plonkers who I used to follow along South Deeside.
You know the ones, 42mph in the NSL then...42mph in the 30 limit...

Agreed and nine times out of ten I slow to 33ish. Like I say though on this occasion, I was in a hurry and worried that I'd be late so I might have chanced 40 if I'd had a clear road. Can you categorically state that you've never exceeded 30 on this particular stretch of road?

Actually, the intent of my post wasn't to warn people so much as express surprise at how many of them there were. I only had a minute or so to post it before I had to shoot off so it perhaps wasn't as clear as it should have been.

Nobody flashed me ... but then again, nobody ever does.

Can't argue with that.

Aye, I've witnessed plenty of that myself. Makes my piss boil.

Cheers,

Eric

Kilte, Ali, No I wasn't really critising. Saw it myself what, 3 weeks ago. 5 plod standing at the South side of the road in the relief section. Anybody know when the last speed related accident happened at that point?

With 3 count down warning signs you have no excuse.

Just a pity that they're not monitoring those really dangerous parts of the S. Deeside road like the Park junction where Mr. Numptie thinks "it's a straight", puts welly down and you have that junction there where if I recall there have been fatalities.

That's a junction that really should have some serious , but simple work done on it. I absolutely hate coming from Drumoak and then trying to do a left out of there.

Anybody know if there's some Highways site where concerns like this can be posted.

I lived on Leggart Terrace until recently, the rozzers are frequently there in unmarked cars.

I don't mind that kind of speed enforcement, but when you get caught at 54mph heading south from the Dee roundabout, 100 yards short of the NSL by a Scamera van on the other side of the dual carriageway... then i find that a tad annoying!

caused me to lose my job as well, thankfully it was only a student part timer, but even still...
