How are they "A" roads? They're single track for at least half of their lengths ffs

Spent the afternoon mooching about the southern Highlands getting my bearings on a few places after taking some photos up at Glen Etive and decided to try those two back to the A9 instead of carrying on up the A82 to Inverness, as the day was drawing to a close.

What a fun road

On the way back I spotted my new home on the shore of Loch Laggan (apologies for the colours/contrast - light was very low and I've boosted the crap out of it in Tattyshop)

(I wish )

those houses are great untill you want to pop to the supermarket. or get the heating bill, in fact most people the live in castles just have to learn how to be very very cold.

Driven around that area a few times and always had great fun.
Had a bbq about half a mile to left of that photo on the beach a couple of years ago.
