Hi Folks, some of you speed event guys might know me already.

I'm from the Aberdeen area and drive a 106 Rallye which doubles as my hillclimb car.

I did the '05 Scottish Hillclimb Championship in the 106 and previously in a Mk1 Fiesta Supersport.

The 106 is currently undergoing a makeover so it wont see a hillclimb venue for a while weeping

Lol...

That pic was taken at the 1st corner at Fintry hillclimb... oversteer beats understeer anyday... i just wish my 106 would do it.

It kicks the back end out when i go over the bump before oak tree at Doune but thats it.

Rear suspenson (lack of) damping issues... i bought some 3 way Proflex dampers for the rear so hopefully it'll handle a bit better when its out next.

I grew up in Collieston and went to school in Ellon, so kind of the same area.

Fine ta, kept busy at work this weekend and all next week... it'll pay for some new engine goodies though.

I'm good thanks Dave...

Been practicing my sidewards exits from junctions on these greasy roads...much fun!

Haven't had a blether with you for a while...must try to catch up.
I was trying to get hold of Snap On yesterday for a blether...but he's dropped off the radar!

Back offshore on Thursday for me...boo!

Snap on spends most of his time in amongst the AX rally car.

Its in bits just now as you'd expect...

I got some goodies today.

David, how are you?

I'm a new member too and was wondering how you get into these hillclimb events.

I've got a WRX RA, all stripped, caged etc etc and only use it for trackdays but would be interested in the hillclimbs for a blast.

Any info would be much appreciated.
