Browsing through Fast & Modified (come on admit it; we all do it sometimes paperbag) in the local Tesco I found a response from Team Gimp on page 19 regarding their video taken at Knockhill - I'm sure you've all seen or aware of it.

It's quite heartnening; my take on it is they've been thoroughly condemned far and wide for their atrocious driving but when they've tried to excuse their antics it's not washing too well. Glad to see those responsible for moderating track standards and behaviour are standing their ground.

Still not happy about those tossers! My insurance company has reasonable cover for approved track days, they have seen that vid and as a result are not to keen on insuring me for any track days at Knockhill!
Hopefully I can persuade them that the Hot Marques and SIDC days are better run, which they are.

Happy to talk to any insurance company regarding driving standards at the SIDC events. Following the problems last year, Competition Car Insurance decided to pull all cover for KH event, but after some talks, the SIDC events continued to be covered by their policies

Thanks John that would be useful.
I hope that KH will now see the damage that these 2 tossers have caused to KH reputation and have hopefully banned them from all future events.

I watched the video for the first time the other day. I'm really glad I wasn't out on that track; but Team Gimp weren't the only car that should have been black flagged!
