This flat is shaking all over the bloody shop eek

Bit windy down this way too - Glad I'm staying in, don't fancy being out in it.

My cousin called me after the "bells" last night from Edinburgh, he said the gales had died down and the "do" went ahead, fireworks and all..

Is that not right?

Sort of. The concert and "official" stuff was canned but a fair amount of people were already in the vicinity, so when the weather calmed a bit, things carried on. I did see a load of fireworks in the vague direction of the castle but not nearly as much as usual
