VW Servicing in Aberdeen
Discussion
Having recently moved to Portlethen I am looking for somewhere decenet to service my Passat 130 tdi. When I lived in Wick I got the car serviced by a mechanic friend. So although I am happy it has been well cared for I see little benefit in going to Specialist Cars (local VW dealer)and paying their prices! Is there a 'VW Specialist'in the Aberdeen who could be recommneded?
I'd also recommend Carden Motors in Broomhill Road in Aberdeen for any type of car servicing etc.
They're a small 'back street' unassuming looking garage, but don't let that put you off.
I've always been sceptical of any garages in the past, but found they are very friendly, honest (yes really!), and seem to have excellent mechanics with varied experience, and actually have a go at fixing things instead of the automatic replacemnt mentality.
Been going there for years now, and it's one of the very few garages I've never felt ripped off by!!

Me too. Having been thoroughly taken for a ride by a garage in Dyce, i used Carden motors for my renault until i moved away from Aberdeen. Polite, good service, good work and a good price too.

Cadwell & Dempster, Banchory - ask for Graham Reid - Nobody can touch him for VAG experience
Steve,
Weird! - the missus is there as I type to get her Shogun MOT'd.
There's some doubt as to whether they'll MOT it with the back seats folded and engine bits all over though ... we'll see.
I take it there is a family connection here.
Cheers,
Eric
