I have just booked a single seater driving experience.

At Dubai Autodrome www.dubaiautodrome.com/autodrome/default.htm On 23rd Dec.

Also booked for son and son-in-law - am I a good guy or what ?

Wife and daughter will be there to take pics so will post them if they are any good, I am quite excited about it already

I booked up for the Subaru experience as part of my honeymoon. A change in flight times screwed things up for me and despite giving them 24hrs notice thay still charged me

It looked like an awesome set up though. Not so sure about the charge temps in that heat though !

Nice one......

You have to let me know how it goes. I may be in Dubai in Feb, so looking for things to do for 4 or 5 days

You doing anything else exciting while you're there?

Dune Buggy driving - did that last time, picked up from daughter's house, driven into the desert, four hours in the buggies, soft drinks included - we had a couple of stops and the drinks were welcomed - driven back to the house all for under £50 each.

Friday brunch and Madinat - another good value event, eat and drink as much as you like for 4 hours, and it is excellent food, it is good value if you can trough like me

Were going to do some game fishing but was put off by the website saying you can catch dolphin, not sure why it puts me off but it does.

Party at Irish Village on Hogmany and into New Years Day.

Apart from that nothing much

The dolphin refered to in the website is dourado, which I think is just Portugese for dolphin, could be wrong though, I am still considering the fishing, could always throw flipper back if we get him and I would definately free Willy.

Just read your link properly and you could be right it refers to the various names for the dolphin fish and includes doirado (Portuguese)

Looks like I will go fishing after all

Thanks

CT,

Dourado is the same fish I linked to, ate a lot of them when I was in Brazil.

Ooh Dourado, great eating fish and superb to fish for, if someone in the boat hooks one the rest can drop there lines in and the rest of the shoal who have followed the hooked fish grab the baits, pandimonium!! and great fun!! Good fighting fish as well, lovely green and yellow colours, head like a sperm whale, superb. Used to fish for them when I worked in the Bahamas.
