Anything Interesting In Aberdeen(ish) Area Over Summer?

Is there anything happening in the Aberdeen area over summer like shows etc that I should be aware of? I'm getting dead bored having nothing to do! None of my mates have a keen intrest in cars.

what kind of car you drive? theres usually plaenty on near or within a hour or so drive, its just knowing where to find them,

Sunday 13th August, Alford, MG / TVR day.

Various events coming up, some car related some not but of interest. Tomorrow at Banchory there is the Emmerdale Charity event, various cars usually involved and various displays, air display etc and a 10K fun run but believe me it was no fun last year. A couple of car events at various castles inc Jaguars at Craithes but not sure of the date (Check the Milton Resturant out, it is fantastic) but check with the Scottish National Trust. I think there is an event at Fraserburgh soon and also at Castle Fraser there is the Steam weekend whcih I think at the end of this month. This is not really my thing but went last year and it was amazing, some great engineering, various stalls, some cars and various displays as well.
And of course August the MG/TVR day at Alford.
Loads of other events but they don't come to mind this early in the day ! need more coffee

amazingly i am a member of the national trust for scotland (thanks to £10 membership for under 25's...heh). i will check that one out!
