Due to yet another cock-up caused by me leaving everything to the last minute, I need some wheels in a hurry ...
  • 13"-7J / Ford fitment / Minilite (or equivalent) preferably
Not sure about offset but I'd assume zero.

I'm not looking to borrow a set but rather to purchase or get recommendations as to where to buy locally or on the net.

I'll need them latest mid morning Friday.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Eric

Eric.

Try Paul Rhodes if the offset is the same as Caterham - E-mail per CCC "hit list" or PM me and I'll give it to you. Does that mean you've got a slot for Golspie?

Cheers John, I'll give Paul a shout. Saying that, I think he flogged a set of Minilite 13's to John Lowe recently.

Indeed it does (both Murray and I both days) ... and some Avon slicks in the post which are supposedly stickier than a big bag of sticky things.

Cheers,

Eric

Staying at the Golf Links Hotel. Anyone else in there?

Cheers,

Eric

No.., well not yet!

NB I think wheels didn't fit JL's Fisher so I think they're still up for grabs. I recall they're 2x6" & 2x7" though.

If you're really really stuck I've got a set of 14" with 038R supersoft yokos off my old Westie you can borrow for nowt

Yes, Paul's were 13 by 6 inch wheels and didn't fit over my rear calipers although I have plans to correct that this winter.

Anyone doing anything about a meal on Sat eve in Golspie? I've heard a pub in the next town north is quite good.

John, any chance I could have a run with those sticky Yokos to see if they make a difference over the medium 48rs I have now

Yep - but getting them to Golspie may be a problem coz Paul's got the trailer. Are you doing Alford?
