Very interesting, would love to be able to get the time off to do something like that, unfortunatley a new job means I have to concentrate on work for the moment

Many teams dont know anything mechanical either so I shouldn't worry too much. Your best bet is to find a decent car with no problems to start with and go from there, you wont go far wrong.

If you have any questions feel free to drop me a line - I am the organiser

The Mongol Rally vs our events (S2N/H2R/CRX) are very different and difficult to compare. There are many teams who have crossed over between the events, but they appreciate our "short" events just as much as the long endurance events.

Hi,

I have replied to your e-mail. My web sight can be found at

www.mongoliaarewethereyet.com

I have not updated the website because I am going to be making the rally this year

But will be going in 07 as I have had some problems with visa applications for the southern most route. Having said that the delay is probably a good thing as it means that I can get every thing sorted raise some more money for charity and be properly prepared. when you start seriously looking at maps, route planning and trying to organise an attempt you find that there is a lot to do.

So if you want to give it a go can weight till 07 we should meat up and see what we can come up with.

Blake
