Spotted: ZONDA in Edinburgh

Seen a stunning silver Zonda in Edinburgh today.

First time I have seen one of these cars apart from in magazines and it looked amazing! EVERYONE was staring, pointing etc at it.

Was quite suprised at how small it was as well, I thought it would have been massively wide. Best looking car I have seen EVER though!

The owner is one VERY VERY lucky guy!

My girlfriend also spotted this in Edinburgh the other day - I thought it might be northo`s (Rio Prestige hirecar), but maybe not, I saw a grey one on the M8 not so long ago that is from Aberdeen area so there are a few about.

Yeah. I saw it too. Burbling down Broughton Street at lunchtime. It did look very nice... The topless ones are new aren't they? Remarkably quiet too (I'm sure that all hell breaks loose when required though).

Not our car. There was another Zonda at the Scottish Motorfair two weeks ago. There are at least 3 Zonda's in Scotland, which is pretty amazing. I think two live in Aberdeen. Did you get the registration number?

It was a really short private plate, I think it had a 9 in it.

Yes they are really quiet. But yes, I bet if they open the taps up they screams like hell!!!

I take it well over £300,000??

Jesus just checked evo : £350,000 for C12S, £450,000 for ZondaF. Insane!

One of the Aberdeen ones, belongs to my parents friends and it was in Edinburgh over last weekend so most likely his. Not sure what the exact model is though.

Thats the 1 that was @ KH , it was the chap who owns it son who was driving iirc hes only 23/24 and no 1 in the land would insure him on it , so was only TPO

That's an Aberdeen car(Ellon) - will proabaly be back at Alford Motovation show again this year - diver had some fun on the sprint track with a XJ220 & Carrera GT on track - along with some Ferraris/Lambos etc & a XJK15

zonda's etc are great, but the 288GTO for sheer form.

aye it is. I had to do the judging for the supercar parade and I give the 288 the win. The owner was a totally unassuming guy and he was genuinely pleased to have won which I thought was good - he just seemed like a petrolhead who'd got enough money to buy his dream.

It was a fantastic car the 288, made all the better by the good weather that day.

but they was also a very nice 3 blue wheeler in the background!
