F#@king Vandals!!!
Discussion
I just want to vent my rage and frustration about my car's rear window being vandalised on Friday nite!!!
I've just spent £300 on getting a new rear screen for my car and some little c@#t decided to take a key to it on Friday nite.
Some people have no regard for anybody else's property
Anybody had anything similar happen to them?

So sorry to hear this.
I just got back from Brugge, where we spent the holiday weekend. The B&B parking was shut, and so we had to leave my car in the local shopping centre multistory for three nights. I was livid, and bricking it.
But we had no problems.
Which doesn't help you at all - this is just a symptom of the British disease - lazy jealous scum.

Was it left in a busy / bad street?
Not much you can do. I always park in Multistorey when out in Glasgow (did it last night) as one time I left my old elise parked in George Sq and some neds spat on it for me.
At least you know you have a nice car that they will never have, a Z3M roadster passed me the other day outside Bridge of Weir and I thought it looked cool, so dont let them get you down.

Thanks for the compliment about the car
Well the street that I live on is not that bad a street to leave your car on because just up the road from me there is a BMW 650i left on the street most week days and an E46 M3 as well. But at the weekends its a different story (I live just behind the highstreet and all the drunks from the pubs walk back through my street as a short cut)! Most likely it was someone drunk walking back from the pub.
That is the last time it will ever be left on the street again
An elise left over night in George Sq, my god that must have been a sleepless night

I also live at the back of a high street and have had my garage broken into by absolute scum. They stole two motocross bikes but I also had a third .(one was soon going to be sold because I had outgrown it and the other one was for my brother). My worry is that when they stole two they must've seen the third so now there is some thieving b@st@rd walking around that knows I have the bike in my garage and could come back for it at anytime
I live on a main road, my front garden is paved so I can get all teh cars in, twice now 2 cars have been keyed! Fortunately the vette is locked up in the garage! I'm thinking of getting CCTV installed, but the missus is agin it on the basis that that in itself would attract attention.

I dont live in a bad area of Edinburgh, but because I am on a main road, a lot of the houses around us have been turned into B&B's. One a few doors away seems to be populated by DSS hoodies who hang about the place. I am told she gets J680 a week for each of them and she has 7 in her house!!

Many moons ago I apprehended a theif trying to make of with my neighbours XR4i.I pulled him from the vehicle, wrestled him to the ground and we called plod.My neighbour and I both received a 'pat on the back' type letter from the local Superintendant and an assurance that the Perp had been given a 6 month custodial sentance.2 months later I saw the little scrote walking up the hill near my house. My neighbours boy had nightmares for about 2 years after because he was worried the robber was coming to get him.My point;Let's just say that if a similar situation was to arrise,I wouldn't be making that call and the offender would not be seen 'walking' down the steet so soon after!
Agreed. Returning to a multi storey car park saw similar scrote hanging around the car.
I changed course, kept out of sight and scruffed him before he realised anyone was anywhere near him: he was just about to key my RS (some years ago this).
When I eventually let him go after a persuasive talking to he headed for the hills - probably never moved that fast before or since.
Unfortunately some years later my BMW 325i Cab. did get stoved in - screwdriver in the key slot, smacked with a hammer, and the stereo ripped out, + cd's stolen. 11 other cars were done on the same road in Aberdeen that evening. How the hell didn't someone see it happening?

A little story to warm the cockles of your heart:-
Some years ago, the company I worked for had an engineer working for them, all of 5'2", and slim built.
He had his car in for a repair, and decided to drop in on his motorbike to see how his car was doing.
Whilst in the garage the mechanic said "Is that your bike outside", "Yes, why", "Well some guy is pushing it down the road"
The engineer leapt out of the garage, gave chase, meanwhile the garage guy called the police. The engineer dropped kicked the first, breaking his lower leg (as far as I can remember), and caught the other one in an armlock.
When the police turned up, they were quite surprised by what the found. Apparantly the two lads were well known to the police for their antics, but hadnt been able to actually catch them doing anything in the past.
And the engineer? turns out he is ex SBS but kept it quite.
Have a nice day out there

My old man had a garage business which included several taxi's, when he retireed he sold up and kept one taxi that he took out when he felt like it for his 'pocketmoney'. I was at my brothers house when my dad popped in for a coffee. Shortly after we noticed a yobo trying to force the quarter light (shows you how long ago this was) my bro' and I ran out caught the guy and told him in a physical and verbal way that he shoudnt be doing that. He continued to come back at us so I nailed him to the wall and told my bro to go in and call the plods telling him to come back and we would give said scrote something for his trouble.
As my bro came back so did his neighbour who asked what was going on, we told him and he immediately said, "let him go he could be from a broken home" I was flabbergasted! He then went on to say that if we touched him again he would have us charged with assault. Turns out this w****r was high up in the Scottish society for prevention of crualty to children and in later years was responsible for the removal of many children in Shetland from their families accusing them of running a witches coven!
