June Golspie

IIRC, we were told that entries received prior to 10/04/06 would be returned.

I posted mine off on Tuesday (11/04/06) and just received the following email ...

CCC said:

Your entry has been received for June Golspie. You are on the entry list for Sunday but the entry is full for Saturday. There is now a reserve list and you are number 1 reserve.

So in just two days the full compliment of 70 entries were received, I hope the 10th April rule has actually been adhered to.
My entries for June and Sept have just been posted today so I suspect I am going to be out of luck.

You posted your entry on tues 11th? entries opened on the 10th. On Mon 10th I received 35 entries, Tues 11th(the day you sent your entry) 15 entries, Wed 12th 13 entries, Thurs 13th 7 entries, do the maths 70!!Fri 14th (the day your entry arrived) 2 entries. Your entry was opened 1st and you got in for sun and 1st on the reserve list for sat, what more can I do?

As you can see no funny buisness, from the 70 entries, there are 33 Caithness Car Club members of which, 18 do not reside in Caithness. At present CCC has a membership of over 100, that's a lot of members who are not on the entry list.

Knockhill was full not long after the opening date for entries and I'm sure Boyndie and Alford will be the same. If you can't get your entry in before other people at these other events are you going to complain about them as well?

No complaint from my end - just a note of incredulity.

BTW - I'm sorted for KH and no worries about Alford, thanks.

Our infenence was that we shouldn't post our entry forms before 10/04/06. That's all.
