Anyone in the Aberdeen area have a bullet cam they would be prepared to lend me for the weekend?

I'd like to see what the results look like before I buy.

I'll collect and return c/w bottle of plonk.

BTW - I do have AV-in on the DV camera.

Cheers,

Eric

Sorry I can't lend you one, but here is some advice regarding the spec. (not easy without knowing your requirements).

Forget CMOS cameras.
Identify whether you want wide angle or telephoto, camera lens may be fixed on bullet cameras and have to be specified at purchase. These range from fish eye to long distance, identified by a size in mm. 3.6mm gives about 90 degrees field of view, 8mm, 12mm etc head towards telephoto. Check out cctv camera suppliers via web search for more details.
TV lines determine how much detail the camera will record, I would suggest 420 TV lines or more for an acceptable picture.
Indoors, weatherproof or underwater???
Wireless or hard wired??
Colour or black and white??
Daylight only or night vision with infra red light??

Don't mean to confuse you but price and specification go together.
