Hey all !!!!

Hi, i've just joined the site in the hope that someone will be able to help me wiv my 924. Its not running at all right n when it does run it get to about 85 then stops and refuses to go any faster. Think it might b ignition leads but not sure. Changed the dizzy cap, rotor arm, plugs, oil filter, air filter. I aint got any idea wots wrong wiv it, please help!!!!

Sounds electrical or fuel related,I would take it to a specialist, I use Brian Miller motors in Edinburgh,He is excellent.
I think there is some decent independent Porche people in The West coast as well. dont know them off hand.

Just found out that the bloke who had it before me decided 2 put a petrol/diesel mix through the tank as he was told "It'll lubricate everything!!!"
Needless to say, looks like i've a fuel tank to flush out, OH DEEP JOY!!!! lol

If it wont go past 85 then surely the problem manifests itself elsewhere through the revs or does it pull cleanly then just stop accelerating

well the Audi........sorry PORSCHE (as the badge reads) has a fueling problem thats gettin sorted very soon, i.e. the tank is gettin dropped out and the whole system is being flushed.
P.S. the fluffy dice were burnt wiv the tiger skin seat covers and go faster stripes
