movie camera advice
Discussion
I was going to say video camera, then I though CD, but I'm not sure what they're called now a days
As title suggest I'm after a movie camera for general stuff and also for in car movies at trackdays etc. Not sure on budget as the one's I'v'e looked at on the net have been anything from £150 - £1,200 - something around £400 ish would probably do the trick budget wise - or maybe I need to spend more (or less?)
any advice / guidance greatly appreciated.
thx

I'm not really up on them but was looking at this one:
www.samsung.com/uk/products/camcorder/miniket/vp_x110lxeu.asp
Smaller the better in my book and comes with a bullet cam.
Cheers,
Ali

As Ali mentions get something that has, or can hook up to a bullet cam. You can get some brilliant camera positions using a bullet cam that you couldn't do with the actual video camera. If I remember correctly you need a camera that has AV input. I use a cheap-ish Sharp VL7 video camera and a bullet cam from here www.rfconcepts.co.uk/cameras.htm These bullet cameras allow you to change the lenses to get wider or narrower shots.

Kevin
