I don't suppose it will be shown on NRK

I am going to be in Norway that day, in fact all that week, the weekend and the following week

Will miss that show, miss the SSC dinner and have my $%th birthday with a load of Norge service techs, eat fish and drink expensive beer

Could be worse I suppose !

You missed out the bit about the expensive beer being guaranteed to result in the worlds worst hangover. Oh yes, your hosts will probably start singing Eurovision style songs at some stage during the evening too.
Have a good time!

I suspect there will be a few horrendous hangovers during the trip, the eurovision style singing is a distinct possibility too, also inappropriately loud laughter for no apparent reason late in the evenings, still gotta love them don't ya ? Well the ladies anyway

I am shamed at ever doubting the missus' thoughtfulness and abilities
Not long after posting this she called and said "there's a car program on tonight, do you want me to record it?"...and had worked out the video unbeknown to me. Oops.

Assuming that she's managed to record the correct channel of course
I'll see tomorow.

Pretty good. Reminded me I once had a wee Dinky-toy version on the Ecurie Ecosse car transporter. No idea what happened to it. I blame my parents for letting me play with it and not making sure I kept it in the box, as it would have been nice on a desk now.

Shame the team came to a sort of natural end. Not sure though about resurrecting the name though. I can't see a Radical has the same cachet as a Jag at LeMans, and the risk any future failures/DNFs/c0ck-ups would potentially damage the memory of the marque.

And I was surprised to see that ONE bloke had a couple of the cars AND the transporter. Not THAT would be a neat set of kit to turn up at a track day/race meet with.

The program last night failed to mention that the resurrected team also ran a couple of Cavaliers in the BTCC for a couple of years.
