RACE ACE : Aberdeen's W Forbes, in his Lotus 35, takes a tight corner in style during his win in the racing and sports machines over 1100cc at the Aberdeen and District Motor Club's hill climb event at Fintray, near Dyce, in 1966.

Presumably on the inside of the track somewhere, actually standing where the car should be heading in my opinion.

But what is the car doing so tight at Combine, and he won the event apparently, have there been changes to the track layout ?

I think some bits have been changed slightly and certainly the trees are now thicker and hang over the track more than they did then.

We need to get crowds like that back to Fintray - if anyone knows how we can do that - let's hear it!!
