Try and schedule this road for weekday rather than weekend. Perhaps early morning. It tends to attract hordes of cyclists and campervans. Many of the campers are unaware that passing places are also to let faster traffic past.

When I went over, October last year the summit was in the clouds, thick enough that I couldn't see from one zig to the next zag.
