Restaurants in Berwick on Tweed

Sorry for the short notice. A few of us are coming up on Friday 27 June for the Jim Clark weekend at Duns, staying a few miles inland from Berwick. Any suggestions for restaurants or pubs with good food appreciated.

Quite a few of these places will be very busy around this time so booking advised: Allanton Inn, Cross Inn at Paxton,. In Berwick itself, Foxtons. Also good Turkish at Mavi, Indian at Magna Tandoori. If you want fine dining, Audela in Berwick.

Also worth a lovely drive from Duns to Kelso which is a brilliant little market town with a ton of options. Schloss is the renowned gastropub there I think. The roads in that area are fantastic - it's where I learned to drive.

Thanks for the replies folks. We finished up eating at Limonchello in Berwick on Friday, some Italian sounding place in Eyemouth with mates from our club on Saturday and Foxtons in Berwick on Sunday. All reasonable quality food and prices.
