My van has 1 tyre that wears unevenly, and gets warmer than the other 3. I have had a coule of unexplained flats on that tyre too.
I have had it from new and it has never had accident or pothole damage.
I have had a 4 wheel alignment check carried out a few times, and the brakes checked, and mentioned this to a couple of garages who cant find any fault.
The van goes on a weighbridge regularly and is usually 3.2 to 3.4 tons so under the limit, but possibly the racking makes the weight distribution uneven. The bott racking is quite pricy, and layed out how i want it, but i think i need to get my individual wheel weights checked out, just in case that 1 corner is much heavier than the rest, and if it is by how much.
Is there anywhere in Central Scotland that does that?
I know someone who has them for stock car racing, but they can take less than 600kg a corner, so no use to me.

I’d try Kenny Brown motor engineering in Hillington. I know he had them for his Porsche race cars, not 100% on the weight limits.

He’s a great guy, knows his stuff

Thanks will give them a bell.
Not holding out too much hope though as most of the race car ones i have seen online max out at 2.3 ton overall.

Its designed for motorhomes but this scale could work for you and you can do it yourself.
