Window tinting recommendations (central belt)
Discussion
Considering rear window tints for a recently purchased Ford Ranger. I've had two tint jobs in the past, one from an independent in Loanhead who were appalling & put deep scratches across every window they touched & one from a well regarded national name in Glasgow who were better but still very disappointing. Both experiences put me off tint-jobs for life but I could really do with some for the Ranger for safety & security reasons as it's going to be used for work.
Any recommendations for a tinter in central Scotland who can do a 100% perfect job (i.e. NO scratched glass, tint cut short, bubbles or dirt under film & no levering-off & breaking bits of trim!)
Alternatively, I'm open to applying some of that perforated static-cling wrap/film which I've used to good effect in the past (far better than the 'professional' tint jobs I've paid £hundreds for). I just can't find it for sale as most of this type of film is for exterior use (advertising film for buses etc) & sticks on with adhesive.
