Restoration Edinburgh
Discussion
Hello,
I am looking for recommendations for a quality car garage in or around Edinburgh that specialises in car restoration. I recently purchased a 1999 BMW Z3M Roadster that is in good condition but there are a few items I would like improved.
The leather on the seats could do with so love (no tears or signs of serious wear but need work)
I would like a full mechanical and electrical evaluation completed.
The remote locking isn't working, I have had specialists look at it already and it needs someone with the know how to get behind the glovebox as that is where the issue is.
I've been thinking about getting all bushes, mounts etc replaced.
A full major service would be great and there are a few other items I'd like sorted/improved.
Usual story, I don't want to pay a hideous amount but comfortable spending for the work to be done to a high standard. I'd imagine this project would suit someone with a bit of time of their hands, loves tinkering with cars, has a passion for restoration, has a knowledge of mechanical and electrical automotive engineering circa later 1990's and loves cars.
Any ideas, recommendations, experiences (good and bad) of garages/individuals locally that have performed work for you already?
Thanks, in advance,
Simon
