Porsche scuttle repair
Discussion
I don't know anyone to recommend, but if the prospective bodyshop has 993 experience, it's always a good start.
For the record, is the windscreen does have to come out, they don't break on removal; fitters break them. In extreme/rare cases, the really badly fitted 'screens will be a problem as will saving the trim frame (on the edge of the glass). The trim frame is not a separate part (comes on a new windscreen).

+1 looking for Edinburgh bodyshop recommendations, I am wanting someone to do a sunroof delete on my Alfa GTV (has a dreadful aftermarket sunroof, which has badly degraded).
I reckon this kind of work might be beyond the "smart repair" kind of bodyshops - I'm looking for an old-school craftsman.

Hi Glassman When I had the scuttle painted on my 993 8 years ago you reccomended a fitter in East Kilbribe who was spot on and did a fine job. My 993 has been written off and been replaced with a 964 so not a bonded screen. 8 years ago I used Colin McNair at Performance bodyshop but Colin is sadly no longer with us hence the need for a new bodyshop!
