I'm looking to get my mid 90s (single din) audio upgraded to a modern Android unit, and also have some minor work done on the speakers etc - nothing Max Power-esque.

Any recommendations for someone in Aberdeen or the Shire to do this? I'm aware of Taylors, and DF Autotec but have no experience of either

Is it Paul at DF that you spoke to?

If so then he's very experienced. I had him remove the standard Bose from my 997 C2S and replace with much higher end stuff as well as swapping out the headunit.
I am assuming you are going for a single DIN replacement headunit with sliding screen and not rebuilding the dash to fit a double DIN?

Thanks. Not spoke to anyone, just done some basic googling.

And you're right, keeping the single din, no way of changing the dash around. Not sure about sliding screen as the head unit is mounted at an angle (car is a 550 Maranello)

I got the double din on my old Audi TT upgraded to an Android unit and added a reversing camera at DF Autotec and they did a great job. Can recommend.
