I've got a meeting in Tomnahurich Street next week, and although I could get the train, car may be less hassle (coming from the East).

It's been 20 years since I have been in the centre of town, and generally avoid parking in city centres anywhere!

Nearest proper car park seems to be Cathedral one (Highland Council) on West bank of the Ness. Any other suggestions, or if used this one how busy it will be on a weekday morning?

Multi-storey's I would prefer to avoid as my car is not "optimised" for tight spaces/ramps nonsense.

Thanks, good shout - seems it's permit but sensible prices (for someone from "down south") smile

There is street parking on Ardross Street by the Highland Meeting Park, a nice wide road just up from the cathedral, its a two minute walk away from your meeting place. There is also a Tesco across the road with plenty spaces

I always park in Morrisons car park (next to the station). Always has space, and if you spend some cash in the supermarket and present your ticket, you get your parking fee back.
