As per title, looking to find out what rally event(s) may be happening this year in and around Aberdeenshire? I've always loved rallying but never been to an event.

There's the Speyside Stages on the 23rd of April and the Grampian rally on the 13th of August.
I know it's a bit of a trek but I'd recommend coming down for the Jim Clark in May. There looks to be a few different championships running at it so hopefully there's going to be a nice variety of machinery like there used to be!

The 13th of August is the Grampian Forest Rally (formerly Granite City Rally). Not sure if it will be a spectator event, but even if it isn't, providing you're sensible there is not normally any issue spectating. I've taken pics at a few of them but not for a couple of years now. Planning to go this year if I can.

As mentioned, the Speyside is the next one up in the Scottish Championship and is based in Elgin next month, organised by The 63 Car Club.

It starts with 2 tarmac stages in Cooper Park at 9am and finishes at Moray College in the town. The gravel stages through the day are in classics such as Teindland, Balloch, Gartly and Ordiequish.

The best bet would be to keep an eye out for spectator information being published on the website and/or buy an event programme, but definitely worth heading along to see the spectacle.
