K Series Tuning in Scotland ?
Discussion
I have a 1600 K Series in my kit car and want a bit more power from it, it is currently standard except for direct to head throttle bodies and a programmeable ECU.
Can anyone recommend a company to carry out tuning work, either just head work or full engine rebuild.
Any suggestion on the actual work I should have done would be appreciated, I was thinking gas flowing and high lift cams as a starter, but have also considered a full rebuild with raised compression.
The car will be used primarily for sprints and hillclimbs and I want to keep the 1600 capacity.
Cheers

Yup, Dreadnought - Brian or Claire Luti.

I know somebody in Crathes that'd sort your car out for you.

Have a look at August's PPC.

BTW How is Tut ?

I was on the phone to tut last night, he got some strength back in his legs immediately after the op and that is still improving, slow going on his neck and shoulders though.
He reckons there is an inkling of feeling coming back in his ass and the soles of his feet (like he had any there before). I guess it will take time for the nerve damage to recover but we're hopeful he will be back in the saddle soon.
He was in good spirits and keen to chat away about the sprints etc. and Kames this weekend.
Cheers,
Ali

I will have a look at page 90 when I get back to the hotel tonight, I noticed an article on bike engines and their respective strengths and weaknesses, maybe I should be looking at that route.
