Edinburgh Cameron Toll parking free?

Hello,
Help please,, looking at a short trip to Edinburgh and trying to find parking for a few hours.
Looking on Google maps Cameron Toll shopping centre looks handy but is it free?
I could find somewhere close by on-street but don’t want to take a locals parking spot.
Thanks for any help and alternative suggestions.

It’s free as in free for a set amount of time only. Not been for years but maybe 3-4 hours?

There's quite a few streets around that area that have free on-street parking such as Gordon Terrace, Hallhead road, Ross road - just double check the signage as some sections are for permit holders. Mainly used by commuters and people that work at kings buildings.

not at all PHds but the Edinburght park n ride is pretty good
