VW / VAG specialist Elgin / Moray

Evening,

Got a problem child golf mk7. It’s been to VW 4 times.

I’m in need of a decent independent ideally as close to Elgin as possible!

Precision Engine Services in Elgin looks like they might be worth a look. Not a VAG specialist but look like they know what they’re doing.

Any recommendations?

How much of a "problem" is it, ie how technical?

I know someone that has used Jimmy Wishart for work on a modernish Skoda for a few years and been very happy, but I am not sure he would be viewed as "specialist" in VAG though.

Something is loose around the front end.

VW have changed the strut, strut top bearing, tie rod and had it 4 times in their workshop. If there was a decent VAG garage with a more old school approach I’d be keen to visit!

Might give your recommend a go if VW can’t fix at attempt number 5.

A bit out of your way, but Aberdeen Volkscentre have been a top class independent VW repairer for many years.

Doesnt sound so much that you need a VAG specialist as just someond who understands suspension.
Who is the garage up there thats the go to place for alignment as they will be better than a dealership.

Look for a garage with a hunter 4 wheel alignment machine and they should be able to help you.
