Quick question folks. Hydraulic pipe from clutch slave to clutch master cylinder is weeping/leaking so need to get a new one made up. First thought was Pirtek, but was told their hoses not compatible with brake fluid. Asked a few clutch/gearbox specialist to no avail too.
It’s nothing fancy - flexible pipe with M12 x 14mm terminations each end, approx 1m long.any suggestions, preferably Glasgow area?

You should try and find a local motorsport specialist or race preparation shop. They will use braided brake/clutch lines extensively and should be able to either make something up from your sample or request it from their supplier. Typically you will need smooth-bore PTFE hose with a stainless steel braided outer. Then stainless steel fittings. Typical suppliers include well-known brands like Goodridge, Atec etc.

Thank you. Will see what I can find.

Don’t need anything fancy - it’s for a 1988 Alfa Sprint 1.7QV so hardly a high performance racer

If they can make up a line with bits on the shelf it shouldn't be too expensive, guessing £100-£200, it may seem like an over-the-top solution but it'll last as long as the car if done right. Best of luck!

Mcgill motorsport at Kirkcaldy best bet.

Pietek and euro hydraulic all specialise in industrial side
