I am looking for a recommendation for Land Rover Specialist in the West of Scotland

Ideally Glasgow, Motherwell, Wishaw, Renfrew

It's for a 1995 Land Rover Defender

No doubt that you had a poor experience but every workshop will have had similar examples of things not going well for the customer.
I have no association with Elite but in the interests of fair balance, my experience there was with an Evoque which had a persistent engine warning light caused by a problematic DPF.
Elite spent several days trying differing methods and fluids to regenerate the DPF until finally recommending going to the main stealer for a new DPF.
They could have charged for the whole time that they had the car and for everything that was done. Instead, there was just a basic diagnostic charge.

I wish I had got as good a service as you received.

Sadly I didn’t, and I’m over £3500 poorer with a broken car on sorn thanks to them.

So I’ll continue to warn people to avoid.

Lix Toll near Killin on the A85
Never been in but they certainly have a few LR about including a tracked one....
Oh and their recovery driver seems to stick to speed limits and be courteous on the road. Just an observation.

Realise it’s a bit late but if you’re prepared to travel a little further these guys have a solid reputation, especially with Defenders.
