Hi I’m looking to get a dpf and egr delete plus stage 1 mapping in my 2008 Tucson. Can anyone recommend anyone in central Scotland area (ideally near Bellshill) who they have used and been happy with ? Lots of ads but rather to go on recommendations as no idea how skilled or experienced some of these ops are. Give me a shout if you can advise thumbup

Anyone near that supplies Evochips software? They're very good.

Hi all , Got it remapped and dpf software deleted. Only problem now is it’s making a new high pitched screech whenever I accelerate. Been driving with new turbo and dpf gutted out for past 2 weeks and it’s never made this sound. Started as soon as remap was done. Can you have a listen and give me your thoughts ? https://youtu.be/z2j2xWI2aA4

cant get it off of mute...

bang it on youtube and link..

its a turbo - getting rid of the emissions etc will let a lot of the previously muted turbo noise out.. Can tell you turbos are noisy bastrds !

Hi No Im sure I can hear the turbo separately. As I sit in driver seat the turbo is to the left. This noise seems to be coming from ahead of steering wheel slightly to the right. Its as soon as I press accelerator even lightly. It sounds absolutely awful.
I just got eml light trigger earlier P0401 relating to EGR insufficient airstream. The guy was meant to have deleted the EGR as well as DPF so very surprised it has thrown up that code. It shouldn't do should it ? Could this be related ?

Yes I tried contacting him and sent text but the guy hasn’t answered me yet. Would I be right in saying this fault would not trigger if egr delete was done ? Couldn’t find any obvious hose leaks but know these can be hard to find.

Well it looks like I found the culprit and it was in the location I mentioned earlier. One of the bolts on the end of the EGR cooler was loose the guy who replaced the turbo evidently hadn't tightened it up. I am guessing it only became obvious after the remap due to the new power increase (138 up to 170) .It is tightened up and noise gone completely now thumbup
