Will never ever happen but agreed, very random bit of news and was a welcome distraction from the American nonsense going on!

For comedy value alone its worth imagining what the Edinburgh bypass would look like over a GP weekend! Definitely one of the daftest things I've read so far in 21.

Of course it will never happen.

Shame though, whilst I like Knockhill, it's just too small compared to some of the bigger tracks down south.

Just imagine F1 coming to Scotland. Pirelli - " Ah it's Scotland this weekend, we'll just take the teams wets and intermediates" laugh

I’d love to watch them try and spray buckfast over the podium girls

Guy sounds a greedy mentalist

“ He said: "It is scandalous that this valuable site will not generate any local income from birdwatchers, butterflies and seagulls.“

Used to live 5 minutes from the lagoons , it’s hugely popular with dog walkers , cyclists, bird watchers etc. It’s right beside Musselburgh race course (horses) and the oldest golf course in the world. Right across the road is a mix of council and new build housing , when I lived there a couple of years ago it was a busy area on race days , so a race track would be unsustainable.

Obligatory dog photo at the lagoons lol

Jackie Stewart in his Tyrell? I remember that one.

hehe

"Quick grab a circuit layout we can chuck on this phoney proposal. What's first on the list? Australia? Cool don't worry if it won't fit, squash it around in MS paint."
