Bodyshop for rust repair

I have some bubbling in a rear arch on my Clio Trophy, was all set to use Performance Bodyshop (Airdrie) in the summer as they'd been highly recommended for that sort of thing until unfortunately finding out that Colin, the owner, had died recently.

I'm in Carnoustie but willing to travel for someone who really knows what they're doing with corrosion, be it Aberdeen, Glasgow, Edinburgh etc.

Have used a few local bodyshops and never been overly impressed, very few people seem to know what they're doing with rust.

I have rust on the back arches and sills of my car.

Performance was in my village of Chapelhall but I have been thinking of using Touch Ups in Glasgow since they have shut up shop.

That is a shock about Colin heard nothing ,he used to attend a few Porsche shows I was involved in and always brought along a few nice cars showing off his business.

From the photos I'd seen on some rotten cars he'd repaired it looked like they were a fantastic outfit.

Done more digging and Protek in Bathgate seem to be about as highly regarded as they come.

I seem to remember there is a really good guy that works at Pitairlie Garage just up the road from you in Newbigging.

They've done a few restorations on vintage Porsches.

Had a look at the Protek site as I need some painting done soon. Can anyone comment on what they are like in terms of price? I.e. are they good but you really pay for it or not too bad?
