I seem to be getting a bit of a runaround from this Company regarding getting some work done after paying a hefty deposit! Can’t get there easily or would be paying them a visit- anyone got any information on their state of play at the moment??

if you google the name then the hits from companies house include references to winding up and liquidation

Not good news im afraid! When did you pay the hefty deposit?? Winding up order was in nov 2019!! Speak to a lawyer asap

I recently had a bit of work done by someone who works (worked?) there and he said it had gone into liquidation but that was before Christmas.

Just read this and surprised they lasted this long. When they were on Great Western Rd even as far back as 25 yrs ago their prices for ANYTHING were eyewatering. Over the years Id sometimes enquire about the price of X or Y and the prices still remained OTT. From the outside looking in they seemed to tailor for the business \ take away \ shop owners who seemed to have more money than sense.
