have spotted in the Bathgate area a "stealth" traffic police car.

This is a silver Vectra with very subtle markings which make it almost impossible to spot from either the front or the rear.

The only thing you can see from the front or rear is what looks like a slightly taller than normal, empty, roof luggauge rack which is in fact a heavly disguised set of roof lights.

Very sneaky.

Be careful out there.

Seen it but it is fully battenburged and the roof light is one of the new small white things that turn blue when switched on.

Aint lookin for an argument but wouldnt describe it as a "stealth" car.

No i would give the 'stealth' title to the dark blue Skoda I passed on the M8 a few weeks ago...

Just watched the speed cops prog on TV and the Police call their unmarked cars 'stealth cars'. Guess that sorts that one out then

Ken only said that it's "stealth" cos you can't tell from front or rear. I saw it last week, and he's right, you can't...

maybe "semi-stealth" would be a more accurate term - sneaks up then goes "Boo!"
