Anyone in Scotland, preferably North East/Aberdeen area, know of somewhere that can do engine decoking/de-carbonisation? By this I mean the carbon build-up on the inlet valves as a result of direct injection. The engine in question is a supercharged V8 petrol Jaguar, in case that matters.

Thanks for that. Did you just have the regular fuel system cleaning, or did you have the induction cleaning process (whereby they inject cleaning chemicals into the intake ducts post-MAF) done too?

I honestly can't remember, its an age thing, i think... but i usually got belt and braces for these things.
I was one of his first customers a few years ago, pal had his van done and was raving about it. Usually skeptical but it made a difference for mine, nb this is a dag dag, so i would expect more coke build up etc. I have cleaned out previous daily VAG tdis, and removed large amounts of black sooty cack... which makes a phenomenal mess... and missus is too unhappy.
