I've got one of these experiences to use up but not a clue which is the best track experience in Scotland from the below-

Can anyone offer any insight? The Fife ones are much closer for me (Carnoustie).

Can only imagine North Berwick is actually East Fortune. Didn't know they did that sort of thing there, I thought it was only used for motorbike racing.

The East Fortune one is on the runways within the Museum of Flight, one of my acquaintances has managed to land a job there though not sure how big the 'track' is, I'd guess it's similar to what Crail will be.

Possibly using the track the bikes race on at East Fortune, Search East Fortune Race bike onboard and you'll get an idea of the track layout.

I would be surprised as they have never let cars on due limiting wear and tear on the new surface. Runway from the MofF is next to it and is 'longish' but its not exactly a track like Knockhill.

Not quite true, there was one track day there about 15 years ago (I was there). The neds caused such a noise issue on their way in and out of the circuit that it never happened again.

I went to a SuperCar experience last year. I wont name and shame. Disappointing to say the least. Took me almost 2 hrs to get there, announced my arrival and 'signed on'. Waited another 45 mins in the cold - they dont have any facilities, then got my less than 3 minutes in the car. Drove 100 yards around some cones, 100 yards back - repeat another twice. Hardly got through any gears or up to any speed.
Another almost 2 hrs home. What a total waste of time.

Had it today, bit of a mickey mouse makeshift track set up at Crail Airfield but it was still good fun, can't complain at getting to drive the tits off a Ferrari F430 and Lamborghini Gallardo for free.

After that got a couple of fast passenger laps in a Lotus Evora, fking hell that was ridiculous. The instructors obviously don't have to worry about the 5 grand insurance excess, would never have believed you could drive so quickly through chicanes without wiping out the cones.

I booked East Fortune2 years ago for my son. He loved it but the track was crap. Its a bit of the airstrip. You drive up, around the cones and back. I suppose they've only got a straight bit of road to work with but better places out there.

Johnny.
