Recommendations for carbs set-up/tuning central belt

Hi,
Am looking for recommendations for somewhere to set-up/tune my twin 45 dellortos, engine is corrado 2.0 16V unit in a early mk1 golf if that helps any..
Ideally someone who's experienced with carbs and older cars.


located in Falkirk but happy to travel for right person/garage that is trusted and recommended

Ive found a couple of older threads about carb tuning but not much recent.

Mike Stewart in Errol could be the guy for you.
I think the issue might be finding someone who holds spares for Dellorto carbs as they stopped making them over 20 years ago. Eurocarb still supply jets,venturis and service kits by mail order but that's not always ideal when you want to experiment when tuning them.

I've heard good things about mike so i'll give him a call.

i did think spares would be an issue but hopeful its more just tweaking and know-how as they seem to work ok just running abit rich.
